The NDTV-Fortis More To Give campaign was launched by campaign ambassador, and actor Irrfan Khan with a panel discussion around the pressing need for organ donation.
The campaign aims to bring to the forefront the wide gap between the number of transplants our country needs and the donors or transplants that actually occur. The intiative intends raise awareness about organ donation and encourage people to lend their support to the cause.
Zainab who is now over 7-years-old was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2014. She was 6-years-old then. She received a new kidney at Fortis Hospital in Chennai.
