In a dramatic protest in New Delhi, opposition leaders, including Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, wore T-shirts featuring the face of Minta Devi — claimed to be 124 years old, nine years older than the world’s oldest registered voter. The protest was part of a larger opposition rally against alleged voter fraud and the SIR exercise in Bihar. All participating lawmakers were briefly detained by Delhi Police. However, the central question — “Who is Minta Devi?" — was quickly answered: she is actually just 35 years old and is, resultingly confused as to how her face ended up on Priyanka Gandhi's T-shirt.
