NDTV & Fortis Healthcare Sets World Record
NDTV & Fortis Healthcare in partnership with SRL Diagnostics, organized the largest ever initiative to test blood glucose levels in the Delhi NCR region and Mumbai to help diagnose and prevent diabetes. The awareness campaign, as part of the NDTV Fortis Health4U campaign launched in Mumbai in September this year, generated an overwhelming response leading to a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title being set.
The free blood glucose level tests were conducted at all Fortis Facilities and select SRL Labs in the NCR region covering Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Faridabad as well as in Mumbai on World Diabetes Day. A total of 10,508 citizens from various walks of life and of different age groups ranging from 18 years to senior citizens availed the benefit of this initiative on World Diabetes Day. By conducting 10,508 blood glucose level tests across multiple locations in one single day, NDTV & Fortis Healthcare in partnership with SRL Diagnostics set an extraordinary ‘GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS’ feat for the Most Blood Glucose Level tests done in 8 hours (multiple venues).
