School-Connect Initiative: Every Child For A Child

NDTV-Fortis Health4U is planning a Cancerthon to raise money for children with cancer. As a build up to the Cancerthon and to highlight its core essence, which is a child suffering from cancer is still just a child at the end of the day, we have launched a School-Connect initiative called ‘Every Child For A Child’.

We hope to encourage children from all schools in cities across the country to extend their solidarity and stand with their peers – other children suffering from cancer.

The initiative has been structured in a manner, wherein schools across the country organize collection-drives for gift items from their students, such as crayons, toys, notebooks and other such items, and then have them dispatched to children suffering from Cancer.

Who gets the gifts:

All gift-collections will be taken care of, by our Logistics Partner – Safexpress, who will then dispatch it to CanKids, an NGO that works for children with Cancer across the country.
