What's Your Choice - Stop Mistreating People With Disabilities

[ssba]
It's not easy to live in India if you're one of the millions of persons with disabilities. There are not enough ramps for wheelchairs, pavements are utterly unfriendly to people who are blind, public transport buses and taxis don't have special facilities and there are a million of other day-to-day, minute-by-minute problems that people with disabilities face in India. But maybe more than all these structural problems like ramps and access issues - people with disabilities say that the biggest obstacle to their inclusion in everyday society is the crass and backward mental attitude that sections of our society have towards them.

Many are fighting to change these attitudes. Is their hard work having an impact? In today's show we carry out a series of social experiments - this time in the main metros of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru - to see if the ordinary Indian's attitude is changing - Is India becoming more inclusive?
