What’s Your Choice: Special Edition
Through this final episode of What’s Your Choice for this season we thank you very, very much for all your wonderful support, your encouraging comments and your determination to fight with us against social evils by intervening. This show has made it clear, when anyone asks an ordinary Indian – What’s Your Choice – you’ve answered categorically – step in and do something, act – do not turn away and say this is none of my business.

Dr.Pronnoy Roy: I sincerely admire you for taking personal interest in topic like this which touches every life. I watch NDTV selected videos every evening. Your talk hosts/leaders are brilliant. Few programs are exceptionally good. One program that impressed me the most was hosted by Nidhi Kulpati at Sangam, at Kumbh (http:www.ndtv.com/video/player/badi-khabar/video-story/262321Allahabad. This happened by accident. So, Nidhi’s program of exceptional quality inspired me and connected to NDTV.
I am so happy to see big positive change in 30 years. Lot more to done for changing the mind set, NDTV can influence next generation. So it should be long project to see the results in 25 years.
I share as how the thinking of we first generation who came to USA 1961-81 changed in last 25 years. Parents wanted to marry their kids/second generation in their ways, region, caste, religion, status etc. Our kids rejected all gradually. So,now kids find out their partners and parents role is reduced to support their decision. So, today,50% or more marry non-Indians(largely Americans, Asians, Mexicans, Arabic). The kids who marry Indian families, the daughters some parents may feel down. This is also disappearing fast as kids do not allow that. First generation soon realized that if they do not support kids decisions, kids will ignore them as they grow older.
It took 25 years almost one generation. Please keep that in mind. NDTV can influence a change that will be visible in next generation. Thanks again. With regards.

I am highly impressed with the interest shown in various social causes and the work done towards the same.
Totally agree that good work done by the citizens is not highlighted and hence the negativity. It’s true that more than often people do intervene and fight for the right cause.
Was touched with the series of discrimination between a girl and a boy child . I have a daughter and have just been blessed with my second daughter.
Given a choice me, my husband and my daughter wanted a girl child only and were praying hard for the same. Can’t even express how happy we are to have our prayers come true . but I feel so sad that whoever is coming to see us is actually sympathizing with us. I am shocked
They believe that we are just showing to be happy because we don’t have a choice…
I thought things were changing … But unfortunately all the educated ones too have the same thoughts. I stay in noida.. What about smaller towns ..
This has to change, it should change
Please keep airing such shows more frequently
Somewhere these small steps will make differences…
Just saw the gender bias episode and was so touched that tears started rolling from my eyes.. I have never seen a show like this on Indian TV news channel and i wasn’t expecting… Hope to see many such episodes… God bless
Just make sure that in future people on the street don’t think anything wrong is a staged event and hence no need to intervene, or even worse, just intervene after finding hidden cameras so that to get that moment of fame.
Just saying!
Otherwise, this is a good exercise for thought provocation.
Kya baat kya baat kya baat..
Dil ko chu jane wali episode thi..
