Through this final episode of What’s Your Choice for this season we thank you very, very much for all your wonderful support, your encouraging comments and your determination to fight with us against social evils by intervening. This show has made it clear, when anyone asks an ordinary Indian – What’s Your Choice – you’ve answered categorically – step in and do something, act – do not turn away and say this is none of my business.

  1. By this program NDTV giving good message to the Indian Society. If anyone is doing wrong its doesn’t mean no one won’t care. People are busy in there life but any thing will be wrong in front of them they will oppose.

Heartily Congratulations to Team “What’s Your Choice?”

  2. I felt good that you guys started something like this, very similar to an american show called “What would you do?” but again this is a good effort for the society.
While showing domestic violence, there are some violence against men too, maybe not as often as the one against women… but show both the sides rather than one.

  3. Hi,

This incident happened few years back in Pune new passport office. A teen boy assaulting his girlfriend.

I am from Chennai, Pune is an unknown place for me. And i was seeing this violence continung for unbearable five minutes and all around went about their ways. I am powerless in that situation, and i did not know what influence that boy had in that area.

I still went ahead to stop him pulling my guts and that boy came running after me, my son’s passport was with me and I was scared to hell as I was an nri and not even conversant with the local language. I went to a few men near the tea shop and told them they should stop this. In the looks of it they were not too keen to catch this guy and bring him to task. And camera capture was not very happening like today and it was unsafe too as your life may be at stake and i did go back with a heavy heart.

What should a citizen do in this kind of a scenario. If the girl back tracks and says it’s none of your business then the whole purpose is lost.

How can one justify what just happened and how can this day to day event on the roads be stopped.

How can one help in this situation. Is there a helpline or something similar which can stop these public rage against women. If the police come and come late nothing can be more scary if they turn against you.

What is your suggestion to people who face such situations.

    Thanks
