What’s Your Choice: Special Edition
Through this final episode of What’s Your Choice for this season we thank you very, very much for all your wonderful support, your encouraging comments and your determination to fight with us against social evils by intervening. This show has made it clear, when anyone asks an ordinary Indian – What’s Your Choice – you’ve answered categorically – step in and do something, act – do not turn away and say this is none of my business.

I am very happy with this initiative and congratulations for this bold experiment! I am from Kolkata and our society is really double standard while dealing such domestic violence issues. Men is always granted as culprit all the times.
Best wishes
This is a bare fact when a female is victim thousands of hands joins for help including people, police, judicial, NGOs & many more can be visible via many news flashes these days. But has anyone has joined when a man is victim! None. That’s infact men is advised like: ‘BE A MAN’. Why does that mean? man is a born fighter & let him die. Are we really neutral or biased or sympathy? No matter what but A MAN won’t get any sympathy no matter what but women definitely will get. Please, Men are victim too & they also need help and sympathy from the society. Will you let him for a silent death!
Hello Team,
Kudos to the NDTV team. This new series to see the sensitiveness of Indian people on various issues is commendable. Its very heartening to see the response of the people and raise voice against the inappropriate behaviour.
But, I would like to say one thing. I think most of the experiments till now have been conducted in comparatively developed cities, where people are comparatively more aware and more vocal against wrong doing and more educated as well.
I am from Patna. It would be interesting to see the response of public in cities of the so called Bimaru states, where people are comparatively less educated and less aware about their own rights in the first place.
Thanks and Regards,
Kumar Pushkar.
I saw a show on domestic violence on women ONLY presented by Proaay Roy. I am a regular viewer of NDTV. But do you know any domestic violence on men? There are many but men don’t get any privilege in men dominated society unfortunately. Please show some examples as well. Today women are taking advantage in many ways and that’s why so many false cases are there on Dowry etc. as women get always benefit of doubt. I am a victim of this. I can be reached by email and I can call if you provide a phone no – somebody can write a book on this. I love peace but my wife gets away with all abuses she can use on me. I believe in equality – regardless of women or me. Why cannot we all discuss about so that all your viewers see both sides and some women can get to see the other side as well?
