  2. GOVT TO ENSURE THAT A PERSON CAREING FOR OTHER SHOULD NOT BE HARRASED AND MUST BE SUITABLY REWARDED TO THE EXTANT POSSIBLE by law. EDUCATE PEOPLE OF SEVER CONSEQUENCES AND EXUMPLAY PUNISHMENTS IN VERY SHORT TIME IN VIEW OF PUBLIC< AND SHOWN THE PUNSHIMENTS ON NATIONAL TELEVISION( PUNISH ON ROAD CROCESSING IN FULL GLAR OF PUBLIC ) ONLY JAIL IS NOT SUFFICIENT WHERE BIRAYANI IS SERVED. EYE FOR EYE NO NEPOTESIM, SON OF POWERFUL MAN TO GET MORE SEVERE PUNAHIMENT

  4. It is necessary to create awareness among people especially youth to be help to others and care for the needy. Instead of calling the politicians the panel members should be eminent citizens and men/women of standing to carry conviction.

  5. What should I do when I find someone over-eating? Wasting his money in gambling? Or doing anything which, according to you, one should not be doing. First I should check myself and ensure that I cannot be faulted for doing any such thing. Secondly, I should remind myself that I am not entrusted with policing what others do just as I would not like to be policed by others. Then I should consider could there be any justification in the mind of others for what I see them doing and if it is illegal.

In the present instance there are more reasons for why I should mind my own business. Firstly it is not illegal. Father might be thinking that his son is doing much better in his education than the daughter or because his son will be his support in his old age. It is also possible his limited means may be compelling to prioritize his expenses as per his thinking. Let us also not forget that most of us are not ‘enlightened’ but take the path of least resistance or do what others in our community generally do.

However, I would do what Prannoy is doing. Discuss the issue wherever it is possible and write my views as comments in media. If the father who is doing this injustice is well known or closely related to me, with whom I can talk freely, I will talk to him about this.
