Integrated solution which manages the entire supply chain with increased efficiency and paper saving. The systems sensors & machine integrations capture real-time production, monitors consumption & informs on material pull required on production flow. The company deployed greenfield plant set-up for an automotive Tier 1 supplier whose key operations include molding, paint shop and assembly. Fulfilment time was less than 60 minutes As an application it was a complete paper-less system which downloaded the customer demand, published on the screens placed at different work centres based on inventory norms, automatically triggered the job order for respective machines which had a touch display. The system records & processes maintenance requests; schedules work orders; does load analysis & monitors flow measurements. It was used for digital terrain modelling & graphical interface with zoning facilities for 44,000 water connections in Dharwad City a city with highest number of illegal water connections, poor operation & maintenance of water board staff. With the project implementation, KWB Dharwad Division was able to reduce Non Revenue Water to 28% (which is considerably low when compared to other cities of India) , reduce illegal connections & increase consumer satisfaction. To monitor electricity & water usage, the campus engaged in SMART Metering to do data collection at multiple metering locations at the same time. The readings were collected automatically by monitoring software. This helped in optimal usage of energy consuming equipment deployed in the campus like chillers, common area lights, pumps, treatment plants etc. The campus deployed an automated system, My Campus Days for students to facilitate access to information related to campus/university/facilities/multiple departments. The consumers had only 40 cash collection centres within CESCs licensed area for paying their monthly electricity bills. No alternative channel of payment was available The company implemented an effective Geographical Information Systems and mapped the consumers in the power network; it managed & monitored the electrical assets of the distribution network. The in house developed CRM system on open source platform empowered consumers to register power outage / commercial enquiry related complaints/enquiry using Phone, SMS, Website in a more proactive and efficient manner It facilitated automated remote collection of data over GPRS/GSM from around 19,000 Automatic Meter Reading units and processing of the same for timely and accurate billing. It established state of the art data centre hosting all critical applications like Website, CRM, Billing, Treasury Management, Consumer Query, ERP, HRMS ,GIS, BI etc. for 24×7 with an uptime of more than 99.8% Manual reading of meter data from consumers premises was replaced with 3G based Tablets and in-house developed tablet apps. EPFO is 12th largest sovereign Pension fund managing approximately $ 100 billion of funds. It is arguably the largest sovereign pension fund of the world. The organization implemented an initiative called, UAN (Universal Account Number) programme to provide one PF number to all its EPF members, which would be applicable across their various employments. The provision of single PF number had been a long standing demand from EPF members and employers. The introduction of UAN has ensured that the member can carry single account number i.e. UAN throughout his employment period. This has also displayed the technical feasibility of portability by integrating the facility with online transfer claim process. The solution allows member balance details via updated member e-passbook; portability of accounts linked with UAN. The UAN database is seeded with various KYCs to enable e-driven services at the earliest. All new services under UAN programme are e enabled and are available through portal on EPFO website www.epfindia.gov.in. There is no need to visit any EPF office by employer or member to avail above mentioned services. As on 22/04/2015, a total of 4,46,62,986 UAN have been allotted to members employed in 4,37,321 establishments. In respect of these UANs, a total of 2,37,02,772 Bank Accounts, 97,06,655 PAN and 54,98,779 Aadhaar numbers have been uploaded to UAN database of members. Further a total of 47,57,635 members have activated their UAN accounts to avail various services under UAN programme.
