This special, Non-Jury Award went to Azim Premji Foundation, a non-profit organization that has been working for over a decade towards making a significant impact on the equity of education in India. Active in eight states, the Foundation has more than 3 lakh schools covered. The award was received by Dr Shalini Sharma.
