Vaibhav Lodha
Co-founder, FTCash
Vaibhav is the Co founder of FTCash, a PayPal backed startup in financial technology serving the underserved micro-merchants in India. Previously, he was a Director, Global Development at XPRIZE, leading India’s first global prize that targets the problem of access to water.
Vaibhav has spent last 8 years working in the areas of policy and development across over 5 countries and 20 states in India. He had previously been associated with The World Bank in their South Asia Sustainable Development Unit where he advised Government of India on the institutional framework and project implementation for Water Supply and Sanitation for a project of $1 billion.
Vaibhav started his professional career as a management consultant and has consulted organizations such as Walmart, Sanofi, Government of India, British Petroleum among others.
In 2010, the Swiss Bank, LGT Group in Liechtenstein selected Vaibhav as an iCATs Fellow.
In 2012, Vaibhav was selected as a Swaniti Fellow and awarded ‘Power 30 under 30’ by Apex Society, USA for his work with the Honorable Member of Parliament from Himachal Pradesh.
In 2014, World Economic Forum selected him as a Global Shaper.
Vaibhav is an engineer from National Institute of Technology, Trichy and an alumnus of the Harvard University – Kennedy School of Government.
