India’s most loved singer Sonu Nigam performed a special charity concert on December 6 at Labh Ganga Garden, Indore, to raise funds to educate tribal children who are struggling for access to basic amenities in life. He was joined by DJ Anshul and Anusha Mani.
All the funds raised through tickets sales and corporate donations will go to educating tribal children who don’t have easy access to it.

Mr Suraj Roy, Resource Mobilization Officer from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, and kids Roshini & Ujala the same institute. They came to attend the concert all the way from Odisha’s Bhubaneshwar.

NDTV, together with the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, through the Shiksha Ki Ore Campaign, aims to bring the urgent need to provide education to all sections of the society, especially those who do not have access or the means to pursue their studies to forefront.
The city of Indore showed their full support to the campaign and attended the show with full enthusiasm.
The campaign looks to celebrate those who are fighting against all odds to pursue the path of literacy and hopes that their stories will inspire many more to educate themselves and take charge of their destiny.
