“I find Political Science very interesting. It tells me about what’s happening across the country, what the political atmosphere is like around the world and how past instances shaped the world as it is today. I have four brothers and four sisters. There was a bit of a financial crisis when all nine of us were studying and our father was the only one supporting us. However, it’s all sorted now. I’m the youngest, and more or less everybody in the family is now settled. All of us studied as much as we wanted to. I believe that education is extremely important for my personal development and that knowledge is key to getting ahead in life.”
– As told to Tania Goklany. She met Sayma at Samiksha Shiksha Sanstha in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar.

We are also 10 brothers and sisters. My father being a very honest man could not did well in business during 1960 but some how we managed. Now five of our brothers are engineers and all 3 sisters did their MA and worked in teaching profanation. All married and retired by now. I am 70 at present. Two brothers did BA and did some business. All of sudden our mother died when we five younger brothers were still in study and that make life more difficult. But I think honesty and hard work always pays.
