Lallan Kumar from Bihar

“I have come to Delhi from Bihar. I studied till Class 9 over there. But, waha padai-likhai ka mahol nahi tha (the environment was not conducive to pursue education). Teachers would come, sit and chat among themselves. They never taught us anything. I used to do the same, chat, play and return home having learnt nothing. I decided to move to Delhi with the hope of getting quality education. I am going to complete my schooling from an open school.”
