Vikram
Age: 19
“My dream was to become an engineer. But, my folks couldn’t afford to enroll me an engineering institution. I am now pursuing BA Programming from Delhi University’s (DU) Open School of Learning. My older brother is pursuing BCom (H) from Shaheed Bhagat Singh in DU. My parents don’t have enough money to start a business for me, education seemed like the only way to establish my career and gain a little respect in the society. I want to begin my life with baby steps; I want to start my career by becoming a clerk in a government office.”
– As told to Tania Goklany. She met Vikram at Samiksha Shiksha Sanstha in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar.
Right attitude for a young man. Remember what was said “One small step for man a giant step for mankind”. A hard work and ambition never goes a miss. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.
Dont (never) listen to the society. Society is just multiplication of mass hysteria. Do what you love… the rest will follow
