Aamir Khan
Age: 17
“I never disclose my complete name usually. People often pull my leg about it. This is probably the first time I’ve mentioned my full name in one go to somebody that I’ve met for the first time. When I enter the classroom, teachers say things like ‘Look who just walked in, Mr. Aamir Khan’. Students, you ask? Do you not know how students are? Some of them are also jealous of my name. Students are always jealous of someone for something or the other. They’re always passing unnecessary judgements and comments… Yeh unki prakritik den hai (it comes naturally to them). They’re also not very focused. They’re usually WhatsApp-ing or something while the teachers teach. I don’t have a phone. I’ll get one after I complete my schooling. I don’t want to distract myself right now. I’ll have all the time to fuss over a phone after school.”
– As told to Tania Goklany. She met him at Samiksha Shiksha Sanstha in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar.
You look as good as Aamir khan, if not more. Focus on your studies, be brave, and have courage. Live to learn..and love what you do..you will be much greater than the man himself. Like a solid perfectionist.
Thumps up! for your comment.
Stay focused young man. Aim for the stars. You will get the earth thrown
And Yes, You Can and Will
Awww. So Sweet Amir. But why do you enter the class, when teacher is already in, aren’t you supposed to be in the class even before teacher enters.
Mobile phones while being very useful in today’s world is also an unnecessary distraction. Complete your studies, be whatever you want to be and when you feel you are ready, get a mobile & whatever gadgets you need to perform your duties and to entertain yourself. Imagin, you have a mobile now but do not achieve anything in your life what good it will do to enhance your life? You seem to have a stable head on your shoulders. Good luck in whatever you do.
don’t listen what others say, set your goal in life, what you want to be, chanalized all your energy your thoughts to achieve that, one day you would be above “Amir Khan”.
Keep going..focus on your career, choose your friends wisely and dont share your any personal level secrets to her/him/them unless you are sure..that you feel that you could connect to them. All i can say focus on your education and your passion(if u are interested in sports/arts),if not simultaneously involve in some other arts/sports which you like those will teach you a lot.All the best.Go outside more with friends and interact..interact..interact with people more(along with your education/passion which you like)..thats success mantra..
Heartening to hear your views on getting a cell phone. You have a Very bright mind, and hopefully you’ll follow in the steps of great Indians like Aryabhatta or Dr. Abdul Kalam and make your family & relatives proud!
Good luck Aamir!
