#PeekeMatChala: Ola Partners With AIB To Discourage People From Drink Driving
New Delhi: With party season in full swing, Ola launched the campaign #PeekeMatChala (don’t drink and drive) with the release of an extremely entertaining video by members of the comedy collective All India Bakchod (AIB).
In run-up to release of the video, Ola sent out seemingly drunk tweets which included absolute gibberish, tagging the wrong handles, inviting musician Baba Sehgal to the gym, and calling Zomato ‘cute’.
My dream is to drive, over the rainbow so highhhhhhhhhhh

Twitterati was kept guessing if Ola was drunk, or its account was hacked until it tweeted the video by AIB members and put an end to all the confusion and speculation. The cab aggregating app wanted to drive home the message that if drunk tweeting could be this dangerous, imagine what drink driving can do.
The video shows a typical New Year ‘s Eve party in which Ashish Shakya, a member of AIB, wants to leave for yet another party. However, he’s four beers down and wants to drive. His buddies (fellow comics Tanmay Bhat, Abish Mathew and Rahul Subramanian) manage to snatch the keys from him and convince him to cab it down instead.
When Rahul asks him if doesn’t want to live to see 2017, Ashish responds by saying that 2016 was “rubbish”, “depressing” and that he has no hopes from 2017. The video then breaks into song and dance wherein everyone sings about the awesomeness that 2017 will be in the tune of the Bollywood number Batameez Dil from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
The video makes for a fun watch with the participation of other well-known stand-up comedians like Gursimran Khamba, Kanan Gill, and Kenny Sebastian among others.
