Cutting across age groups, residents of Bengaluru came together for the NDTV-Fortis More To Give Organ Donation Walkathon. Former cricketer Syed Kirmani who was present at the Walkathon said that awareness was gradually increasing due to the campaign spreading itself and urged people to come forward and donate organs. Also present at the flagging off was Dr Vivek Jawali of Fortis, who said that lakhs of people were waiting to receive organs and people must come forward to donate more by following the simple steps to pledge organs.
