Mumbai: Staying fit and healthy is something that our Bollywood fraternity has always endorsed. Stars right from Amitabh Bachchan, Sushmita Sen to Shilpa Shetty have inspired us all to develop a healthy lifestyle. Actress Kangana Ranaut has recently joined the bandwagon of vouching for fitness. The ‘Queen’ star recently launched a fitness event in Juhu, Mumbai. Kangana urged everyone, particularly women to dedicate some time from their busy life and focus on their fitness.

The ‘Rangoon’ actress sharing her fitness mantra said, “It’s a myth that staying fit is expensive and complicated. It’s actually not. What you just need to do is take out 30 minutes from your daily life and dedicate it to walking,”

Kangana, who is known for her strong female-centric roles, asked her female counterparts not to ignore their health issues. I ensure that my workout involves walking, it enhances one’s mental, emotional and physical health. I want to specially tell all women out there that while you juggle different roles, don’t neglect your health.

The event witnessed people from all walks of life- Dabbawalas, health enthusiasts, youths and so on.

The event also included walks for adults and children, senior citizens of 5 km and 2 km respectively.
