Munna Murmu

Munna’s family belongs to one of India’s most primitive tribes. He is one of four siblings and has lived a life of abject poverty. He received his early education under a tree in his village. He was taught by a family member not much older than him. A chance meeting with an official from the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences changed his life. Today, he is preparing for his third-year college exams and is a member of the national rugby team.
