Energy Challengers share their Mission Energy Moments
Dipak Khandare from Navi Mumbai, has started carpooling with his colleague to and from office every alternate day, helping him save 14 litres of petrol per month, amounting to about Rs. 1,120 per month.
Girish Kargetu from New Delhi has replaced traditional lights with CFL, constructed his own Biogas Plant and adopted 5-star rated 48 watt energy saving fans. He has used broad windows to ensure enough sunlight and air, indoor plants for better room quality and is using plastic bottle as a technique for watering his plants.
Somnath Banerjee from Ahmedabad has installed LED in his all the rooms of house along with a 5 star labelled refrigerator.
Kohinoor Hospital in Mumbai has installed Green Roofs, Solar Plant and LED Lights to conserve energy.

Contender Sunil Sood from Ranchi has purchased two small Solar Torches and one Solar Lantern which are charged during the day and used for lighting purposes at night.
