A new research suggests that Yoga can significantly reduce depression and help avoid the side effects of antidepressants.

NDTV has partnered with HDFC Ergo General Insurance to bring you a health awareness campaign, Health Matters, that will show you how to live healthy.

Data released by WHO in 2016 saw India in the bottom slots for health-related parameters among countries in the South-East Asia Region. Several factors such as low spending on healthcare, shortage of health care personnel and a lack of awareness have all contributed to this.

Our healthcare system may need an overhaul but there is enough that we can do as individuals to make sure that we live a healthy and fit life. Therefore, NDTV has partnered with HDFC Ergo General Insurance and Metropolis to bring you a health awareness campaign, Health Matters, that will show you the need for healthy living and how to do it.

A healthy lifestyle is one of the best defenses against several diseases. However, several factors such as work pressure, urban living and constant stress come in the way of healthy living. Health Matters is a campaign designed to promote healthy living. Our month-long campaign seeks to promote healthy eating, fitness and a balanced lifestyle.

Our campaign has tied up with experts from HDFC Ergo General Insurance, Metropolis and Health Sanctuary to provide expert advice on topics such as stress management, balanced diet, exercise, health insurance and preventive healthcare.
