Lata Vaidyanathan
Director, TERI Prakriti School, Delhi
A veteran educationist, her illustrious career spans three-and-a-half decades. She’s former Principal, Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan School, Chandigarh, the founder Principal of Eicher School at Parwanoo and the Principal of Modern School Barakhamba Road, New Delhi for the last fourteen years.
She was honoured with the ‘National Award to Teachers’ in the year 2003 by the President of India. She is also the recipient of numerous awards including the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award, Bharat Shiromani Award, Madhav Gourav Ratna Achievement Award, International Lifetime Achievement Award 2009, Global Warming Reduction Award 2009 and Educationist of the Year Award 2013.
Her current assignments include being the Director, TERI Prakriti School; Member, Board of Management of National Bal Bhavan; Member, Executive Committee of National Council for Education Research & Training; Director, EdCIL (India) Limited; Director, Mind Champions Learning Systems Limited, a subsidiary of N.I.I.T., besides being associated with numerous educational institutions in an advisory capacity.
