A Life Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) and Life Fellow of Indian Institute of Plant engineers with degree in Electrical Engineering and MBA. He has an industrial experience of more than 44 years covering industrial customers, consultancy in general management and quality management.
He is a Certified Lead Assessor on Quality Management Systems from PE Batalas UK. He is associated with Confederation of Indian Industry as the chairman of GreenCo – Assessor Panel, Energy, Water and Environmental Management Awards.
Dr Ajay Mathur is Director General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, and a member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Climate Change. As Director General of BEE, Dr Mathur coordinates the national energy efficiency programme, including the standards and labeling programme for equipment and appliances; the energy conservation building code; the industrial energy efficiency programme, and the DSM programmes in the buildings, lighting, and municipal sectors.
Dr Prem C Jain is the Chairman of IGBC and Chairman, AECOM India. He is driving the green building movement in India to restore the health of our ailing Mother Earth. He is the first practicing engineer in India to have been nominated in 1995, Fellow of the ASHRAE USA in its history of a hundred years. He is the founder President of ASHRAE-INDIA Chapter. In 2005, he was bestowed with ASHRAE’s highest “Distinguished Fellow” award.
His Alma Mater Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in India conferred IT BHU Alumni Excellence Award upon him in 2008, and University of Minnesota has conferred their highest award “Distinguished Leadership for Internationals” in 2011.
Pradeep has played significant leadership roles in Cummins over the last 13 years including driving the Power Generation Business, leading acquisition integrations and setting up India’s first green factory for Cummins generators near Pune. Pradeep is a visiting faculty at Indian Institute Of Management (IIMs) at Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Udaipur. His work on Green Manufacturing and Public Private partnership (Pune model) are case studies at IIM Ahmedabad and Bangalore respectively. He sits on the Board of many reputed and large listed companies in India as an Independent Director.
N K Ranganath is the Managing Director, Grundfos Pumps India Pvt Ltd.
He completed his Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy in 1978 and his Post Graduation in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1980. He has over 26 years of experience covering marketing, sales, design, project management, finance and HR.
Seema Arora has nineteen years of experience in the field of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Delhi University. Seema was the first to conduct an environmental audit in India to initiate the creation of a Corporate Sustainability Management framework for building Sustainable Business Enterprises and has been a singular, stalwart force behind the Centre since it was founded.
K S Venkatagiri heads the Energy and GreenCo Department of GBC. and has been associated with CII since 1992. He works closely with stakeholders in facilitating the promotion & adoption of ecologically sustainable business growth models in Indian industry.
Venkatagiri holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
Dr. Koshy Cherail is the President of the AEEE. He has over 22 years of experience in program implementation, policy analysis and consulting with various bilateral and multi-lateral agencies, including World Bank, USAID and GTZ. He was the facilitator and key contact in India, for the Three-Country (Brazil, China and India) Energy Efficiency Financing Project of UNF/UNEP and World Bank through IREDA during 2002-06. Prior to that Koshy has worked with Winrock International, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, Centre for Science & Environment, and the Energy Management Centre (Govt of India).
