Youth Have a Huge Role to Play: Ajay Piramal

NDTV-Piramal Foundation have come together to launch a campaign - Cultivating Hope, to highlight issues faced by farmers. During the launch event, Chairman of Primal Group - Ajay Pirmal underlined the important role that youth can play and spoke about a programme that Pirmal Foundation has been running for the last 7 years where youngsters are required to dedicate two years of their lives in rural areas. The programme has so far attracted 12,000 boys and girls from across the wide spectrum of society to come forward and apply for 200 positions available under this programme.
