Our eminent jurors converge at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida for judging the year’s best products. Each juror gets not just a hands-on feel of each car and bike – with the test drives – but also background information on each nominee’s specifications, its market performance, and also details on its immediate competition.
The jurors are then led through a sanitised process where they individually fill out their assessment on each nominee and award points to all the contending vehicles. We follow the scoring and voting system instituted by the World Car of the Year Awards.
All ballot voting is conducted in isolation to other jurors, and is monitored and organised by our auditors – Ernst and Young. The auditors then further tabulate and document all the votes, to reveal the winners only when the sealed envelopes are opened on stage at the awards ceremony.
