Behtar India Campaign: How The Point System Work And What Winners Get When They Win?


For schools and school students – it was a community service based contest, where completion of task in each of the stages determined their position on the leaderboard. The campaign is now closed.

#BehtarIndia, an innovative community campaign initiated by NDTV and DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance, intended to involve all segments of society to work towards a better India, focussing on three main areas – Health, Hygiene and Environment. Created as a holistic 360 degree campaign, it targetted citizens, school children and corporates to drive awareness and tangible progressive actions towards building a better India. The campaign consisted of three stages which had to be completed in a specified time-frame:

a. Behtar Swasthya – Initiate a dengue awareness cum collection drive to protect underprivileged children from Dengue and provide them treatment cover. Contribute now.

b. Behtar Swachhata – Take up cleanup drive of one public area. Participate now

c. Behtar Vatavaran – Undertake a project to plant 300 saplings. Participate now

Here’s how the point system worked:

20 points – Bonus opportunity on submitting a practical maintenance plan

20 points – Bonus opportunity on planting 200 more saplings
Student Nil 1 Point / Rs. 1 Collected 0 points but participation is compulsory to qualify for prizes 0 points but participation is compulsory to qualify for prizes
